BIO International Convention 2023
Bringing together over 14,000 industry professionals from around the world, the BIO International Convention is a leading biotechnology and pharmaceutical event. This year’s convention will be held at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center in Boston, Massachusetts, from June 5-8, 2023.
The theme for this year’s convention is “Uniting for Innovation, Truth, and Science.” The organizers aim to inspire, honor, and recognize the true value of the breakthrough work biotech performs for society. The event is a call to action to stand up for innovation, truth, and science.
The convention will feature keynote speeches from industry leaders, including Bernard Fallon, Managing Director of Industry Research, Investor Outreach, and Education, BIO, and Mackensie Vernetti, Director of Partnering Operations, BIO.
Attendees will have the opportunity to explore various topics include cell and gene therapy, clinical trials innovation, emerging opportunities in global markets, infectious diseases, vaccines, next generation biotherapeutics, oncology, orphan and rare diseases, and translational research.

Touyana Semenova PhD, Business Development
Touyana Semenova holds a PhD in Virology, Microbiology, Immunology from the Université Grenoble Alpes, France. She worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Grenoble University Hospital for the ANRS and GEMHEP, then as a researcher at the University of Florida in the United States in the field of Infectious Diseases & Immunology. She joined TransCure bioServices as a Project Leader in 2020, and now works with us as a Business Developer.

Ha-Yeon Kim-Penard, PhD, Business Development
Ha-Yeon Kim-Penard holds a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Paris, France. She worked at the Curie Institute (Orsay, France) in the field of cancer biology in cutaneous melanoma, before joining the TransCure bioServices Team as Project Leader in 2020. She has led many projects including immuno-oncology, infectious diseases, humanized liver models, and GvHD in mouse models.
